As we retire our loyal family members, we continue to add to our breeding lines. It takes years to raise, train, and fulfill each of our new dogs potential before we enter them into our breeding program. We require them to have a job, whether it be hunting, competing, or service work. The 1st year they go through three levels of obedience training, Star Puppy and Canine Good Citizen testing, and basic service training. They are taken into the field where we work them around guns, quads, frozen and live birds. We train in wetland and upland areas, so the dogs are well rounded. By year two we have a good idea what position each dog is suited for, and focus on intense training to give these dogs confidence and skills. Sometimes we start a dog that doesn't fit into our family dynamics and we place them in deserving homes to carry on their top notch job training.
