We had a beautiful litter of Mother's Day pups. Blacks, yellows, and a couple of fox reds! Ryder and Misty did a wonderful job, get your deposits in fast as these will go quickly. Whelped May 13th.

We had a wonderful time donating a Sonic Pride puppy to the 35th DU Gilroy Banquet. Lots of fun and guns, guns, guns! Our thanks to a great committee, headed by Jorge Paiva. Looking forward to next year!

Sonic Pride Labradors is the culmination of 12 years of training, hunting, competing and breeding top quality Labrador Retrievers. Kellae Blessing-Hein is training and evaluating AKC Canine Good Citizen events, and both Ron Hein and Kellae are starting therapy programs with our TDI Certified Labradors. Located in Monterey County, Ca we work our dogs on 1000's of gorgeous acres of beaches, hills, and forests. Our pups are bred and family raised with all of us. Our kids,(15-29) are a huge part of these dogs lives, and are essential in the raising and training of our pups. The older ones have many of our Labradors Retrievers living with them. We absolutely couldn't do it without them.

Liberty and Justice

Sonic Pride Labradors are mellow, service quality, and natural pointers. They are a joy to work with in the field as early as 7 weeks marking and retrieving puppy bumpers to hand. We have many pups under 9 weeks of age retrieving quail and dove to hand, and towing back turkey wings bigger than they are! They are amazing little retrievers, and excellent partners for the family.

Our lines have been developed from Canadian Pointing Labrador Retrievers, English Labradors, & American Pointing Labrador Retrievers. We also have Certified TDI lines. See our Studs Page. We are proud to have many of our dogs in working service jobs and competitive sports. Many of our Labradors are in K9 Search & Rescue, are Therapy Dogs, and others work with handicapped, autistic, and wheelchair bound folks. The majority of our dogs have earned their CGC patches, and Therapy and Service Vests and Patches.

Kellae and Ron have recently certified our Sonic Pride dogs with TDI(Therapy Dogs Intl) and expect to begin volunteer work at local hospitals and hospices by early 2012. Our goal is to be TDI Evaluators in the next year.

All our dogs are Canine Good Citizen certified, and we compete others in Dock Jumping and Super Vertical water sports. See our Dams page. We personally hunt and train our Labradors to retrieve in Upland or Wetland terrains. Many of our owners dogs are in Field Trials competitions, and have earned multiple titles over the years. All our dogs are EIC Clear, and have their Eye Certifications. Our studs have American Kennel Club DNA profiles, or are in the process of getting them. Our goal is to bring the most intelligent, healthy, gorgeous Labrador Retrievers into working and companion homes.
